Pitt Trail Review

By Kelly Daniels

Trail Name: Richard E. McDowell Community Trail/Bradford Route AKA Pitt Trail

Location: Campus Drive and/or Clark Lane

Difficulty Level: 2

Length: 1.8 miles one way

Trail Access: parking lot off both Campus Drive and Clark Lane

Trail surfaces: pavement and wooden bridges

Trail activities:   walk, run or bike

Description: Nice paved trail with mostly flat ground that runs along the West Branch of the Tunungwant Creek. This trail also flows through the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, PA campus. Along this trail there are several granite benches to rest or to just stop and enjoy the scenery. Also, there is a small pond with a gazebo. This is a nice family friendly trail.
